What do I need to bring?
Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medication. You may wish to bring shorts and t-shirt.
How many visits will I need?
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the physiotherapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.
What should I wear to my appointment?
A comfortable pair of shorts and sports bra are recommended for the assessment portion of your appointment.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?
Only if you have been in a car accident within the past month. If you are seeking insurance reimbursement, most health insurers require a doctor's referral.
Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors. Re-evaluations will be done to assess your progress and Dara communicates with your physician to help you achieve your therapy goals.

Dara is a licensed massage therapist in the state of New York who has received additional training in medical massage, myofascial release, and neurosomatic therapy.
